The Real Cost of Office Lighting Isn't the Fixture—It's the Rework

Here's my opinion, stated plainly: if you spend more time verifying specifications than admiring fixture designs, your lighting projects will cost less and finish faster. The most premium fixture in the world won't save you from a missed compatibility detail. Ten minutes of verification will.

That's why I'd rather order four Flos floor lamps with a checked driver spec than eight "flexible" alternatives with fine print.
